See the scenes when a group of Speakeasy BCN students visited the foothills of the Catalan Pyrenees at Camprodon and Setcases.
The French Alps might be more famous...but the Pyrenees are wilder, with more snowfall and more biodiversity (think Ibex, wolves, bearded vultures, eagles, brown bears and more).
We think the views are more spectacular too!
On a sunny day in February 2024, a group of students from Speakeasy BCN set off to discover the charming villages of Camprodon and Setcases in the Catalan Pyrenees. Partnering with travel agency Barcelife we ventured into these historical towns known for their stone architecture and traditional delicacies.
Why we love day trips with Barcelife
Our day trip was filled with first-time experiences for nearly all the students.
We wandered down beautiful narrow streets and tasted local delicacies like cured meats, pastries and traditional cookies.
Cameras clicked non-stop.
We enjoyed coffee in sunny squares and visited old churches, each with its own story to tell. The views over the valleys were breathtaking. The fresh mountain air was invigorating.
It was only a day trip...but we came back feeling more connected with these incredible, hard-to-reach places.
