This allows them to fully immerse themselves in Spanish for 4 hours a day – while still having time in the afternoon to explore Barcelona in the afternoons and evenings.

This course is great for balance. You get to experience our amazing Spanish immersion methodology and not miss out on loving your time in Barcelona.

The 20h Intensive Course has the following benefits:

• Morning schedule from 9:00 - 13:00h

• Consistent daily practice

• Small class sizes (8-13 students max.)

• Experienced teachers

• Practical, immersion-based classes

• Steady progression between levels (you move up one “level” every two weeks!)

2. Evening 4h/week Course

This course is super popular – even though there’s only ⅕ of the Spanish learning time compared with the 20h Intensive Course. But the reality is that a lot of students at Speakeasy BCN are working or living in Barcelona full-time.

This option can be great if you want to learn Spanish fast but still have other commitments. You have classes Monday-Friday. But you can choose to study in the afternoon or evening. And it’s only two hours every day.

It’s kind of like a “goldilocks” class. You have just the right amount of learning – but you can always switch to a more intensive or less intensive course if you need.

It doesn’t feel right for me seeing this course pop up in number four. Because, in truth, the 20h Immersive Course is the most popular long-term Spanish course at Speakeasy BCN. Don’t be put off by the order. The reality is that a lot of students aren’t staying in Barcelona for 6-12 months at a time.

A long-term course for many students means getting a Student Visa. But if you’re looking for this kind of extended stay, then you should check this course out!

The Immersive Spanish 20h Long-term Course has the following benefits:

The Accelerated 20h Long-term Course is 20 hours of Spanish lessons. This makes it a great option for anyone looking to secure the highest Spanish qualifications in a given period of time and enhance their resume.
