Have a busy schedule in Barcelona, but still want to improve your Spanish as much as possible? Or maybe a 4-hour daily intensive class feels a bit overwhelming? Our semi-intensive Spanish course at Speakeasy BCN offers the perfect balance -2 hours per day designed to fit around your life.
In this course, Spanish classes take place Monday-Friday between 13:30 – 15:30 or 17:30 – 19:30. You can choose the time slot that suits you best. With steady practice built into your week, it's an ideal option for students who have to learn Spanish part-time, but still want to make consistent progress.
You can study for as many weeks as you like. Our part-time students progress one mini-level in 4 weeks and one full language level in 8 weeks.

Level after 12 weeks is an example of the expected progress if starting as a complete beginner. Price for 12 weeks is an example of what you would pay for 12 weeks with the 15% discount applied. Courses can be booked for any number of weeks, with discounts applied when weeks are booked together: 5% for 4+ weeks, 10% for 8+ weeks, and 15% for 12+ weeks.
Combine learning Spanish with working or studying part-time
The 6-hours a week Evening Course helped me get my Spanish from a very basic level to upper intermediate in less than 6 months. During the classes we use a variety of different learning techniques in a small group of students and the teacher has been great, facilitating an interactive experience. Next to a full-time study or job it is demanding - but rewarding, fun and definitely worth it!

Yes. All our teachers are native Spanish speakers from Spain. They all have a university degree, special training in ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) and experience teaching Spanish to foreigners.

Yes! We have a range of ages at Speakeasy BCN so you will never feel out of place, whether you’ve just finished school or have decades of work experience. The average age of a student at Speakeasy BCN is 28.

Yes, you can. Booking a double room allows you to share your room with someone else. If you want to stay in a double room you'll need to book together with the friend/family member you will be sharing with. Each of you will have you’re your own single bed. You are responsible to find your roommate, we do not provide the service to match students together.

Yes. You can book your course week by week if you choose. Just keep in mind that you risk losing your spot in the same class if the class has previously been reserved by other students. Keep in mind that discounts are applied up from four weeks booked at a once.
