Flexible Spanish programs
Our business Spanish courses are suitable for people of all levels, whether beginners or advanced.
Together, we’ll build a customized training course, adapted to your individual level or to a team’s level. We can choose fixed or à la carte schedules at any time from Monday–Saturday and from 7am-9pm.
You can also choose a preference for in-person classes at your company’s office in Barcelona, at the Speakeasy BCN school, online – or a mixture of all three.
We also offer maximum flexibility, allowing you to cancel or modify any upcoming class up to 48 hours in advance without penalty.
Effective “immersion” teaching methodology
At Speakeasy BCN, every class is conducted entirely in Spanish, with materials and discussions tailored to your professional needs. Working in small groups or one-to-one sessions, you’ll engage in targeted role plays, problem-solving tasks, and industry-specific conversations.

Who is Speakeasy BCN?
Founded in 2001, Speakeasy BCN was created to provide international students and businesses with a dedicated center for learning Spanish through our proven immersion methodology, while also serving as an official examination center for the internationally recognized DELE and SIELE exams.

Speakeasy BCN is perfectly located between Plaça Catalunya and Plaça Universitat, right on the edge of Barcelona’s historic Ciutat Vella district.
We are connected by metro, bus, and train to all of Barcelona city, and our school is just minutes from iconic spots like La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, and the Mercat de la Boqueria.

How does it work?
When you contact Speakeasy BCN with a business Spanish inquiry, one of the first steps will be to define the current level of your (or your corporate team’s) Spanish proficiency. This can be done with our online level test or an interview.
Once we know your level, we’ll collaborate to find the best solution – be it at your office, at our school, online, or a blend of all three. We’ll also look to organize the business Spanish program around your ideal schedule.
Then, we design a teaching plan that includes any specific exams to prepare for and send a quote.
Progress monitoring
Throughout the duration of your business Spanish course, our teachers will continue to monitor your progress with frequent assessments. You or your team can choose to prepare for official Spanish exams and obtain internationally recognized certifications, such as DELE and SIELE.

Yes. All our teachers are native Spanish speakers from Spain. They all have a university degree, special training in ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) and experience teaching Spanish to foreigners.

Yes, you can. Booking a double room allows you to share your room with someone else. If you want to stay in a double room you'll need to book together with the friend/family member you will be sharing with. Each of you will have you’re your own single bed. You are responsible to find your roommate, we do not provide the service to match students together.

Yes. You can book your course week by week if you choose. Just keep in mind that you risk losing your spot in the same class if the class has previously been reserved by other students. Keep in mind that discounts are applied up from four weeks booked at a once.

Yes! If you give us one weeks’ notice, you can switch to a different schedule or re-evaluate your situation and move to a different class. See an overview of our Spanish courses here.

We don’t offer trial classes because it can be disruptive to the class dynamics, and it's important for us to maintain high-quality learning experiences for our students. However, you can enroll in a Spanish course for one week and then extend your study for as long as you like.
