On Saturday, we'll take a trip to the golden-colored beech forest of Fageda d'en Jordà and the village of Castellfollit de la Roca. The Jordà beech forest is one of the favorite places for locals to embrace autumn. This natural reserve, formed by cooled lava and surrounded by many volcanoes, is highlighted by Santa Margarida, whose explosion opened a wide circular crater, inside which stands the Romanesque hermitage. Afterward, we’ll visit one of the smallest villages in Girona, Castellfollit de la Roca. Dating back to the 11th century, its old town, built with basaltic stones, leads to the scenic Josep Pla viewpoint.

Pintxos - the Basque version of tapas. Carrer Blai in Poble Sec is a pedestrian street lined with bars serving tasty pintxos and beer. The idea is to hop from place to place, sampling different pintxos as you go. Join us this Thursday to mingle with your Speakeasy classmates and enjoy authentic Basque cuisine together.

On Thursday, we will take a part of the main event of the month - Oktoberfest! Yes, it's popular not only in Germany, Spanish people are big fans of ale as well. Join us at Oktoberfest Barcelona to enjoy great beer, the best Bavarian cuisine, live music, and of course, socialize with your classmates outside the classroom!

This Wednesday, we will explore the stunning skyline of Barcelona on a sunset walking tour! Together, we’ll wander through scenic spots starting from Parc del Guinardó, uncovering breathtaking viewpoints like Pont de Mühlberg, and Turó de la Rovira. From these vantage points, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona’s treasures: Sagrada Familia, Torre Glòries, Tibidabo Mountain and more. Let’s soak in the beauty of the city from above and create unforgettable memories together.

We are going on a day trip to visit two unique locations in Catalunya on Saturday, the 11th. Firstly, we will explore charming Girona, a town with more than two thousand years of history. We will have a guided tour around the Barri Vell (Old Quarter) where some of Game of Thrones was filmed! After lunch, we will drive to the most beautiful medieval town in the region - Besalú. We will see a well-preserved spectacular Romanesque bridge, the church of Sant Pere and the house of Cornellà, and its Jewish quarter.

This Thursday, we will have a fun and delicious Pizza-Making Workshop at Trafalgar Pizza! You’ll learn to craft your own perfect pizza from scratch. Get hands-on with fresh ingredients, bake your masterpiece, and enjoy unlimited drinks while you cook and mingle. Whether you're a pizza pro or a beginner, this is the perfect way to spend an evening with great food and great company. Get ready for an exciting afternoon as we embark on a bici tour along the stunning Barcelona beach! We’ll be cycling a round trip of 8 km, starting from Paral·lel and heading to Nova Mar Bella beach before returning. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and some great company. Bring your energy, your enthusiasm, and your sense of adventure—are you ready for the ride and the tide? Let’s go!

We’ll be participating in a creative masterclass where you’ll have the chance to make your own ceramic piece! A teacher will guide you every step of the way, helping you learn and apply all the necessary techniques to create your own work of art. This activity is suitable for everyone, so even if you have no prior experience, you’ll be able to make your own mug, plate, or bowl. Of course, we’ll set aside time to be creative, chat, and have fun!

On Saturday, the 27th of September, we'll be going on a day trip to visit one of the most famous cities in the south of France - Carcassonne. Situated on a hilltop in the Languedoc area of southern France, it is famous for its medieval citadel, La Cité, with several watchtowers and fortifications. Join us to explore the iconic 12th-century Châteay Comtal and Roman walls.

Get ready to unwind and stretch your way into bliss this Thursday! Join us for a beginner-friendly outdoor Stretching & Toning session on the grass, led by Justina Telicena, a professional ballet dancer with over 15 years of experience. No experience needed—just bring yourself and an open mind. Stay afterward to soak in the autumn vibes and enjoy the stunning views of the Glòries Tower. This Friday, we are going to visit one of Barcelona's lesser-known jazz clubs to enjoy the jams of local jazz musicians. The club has a special atmosphere, natural wines, signature cocktails, artisanal beers, and a vinyl disco after the jam session. Join us and enjoy the music alongside your classmates!

This Thursday, we are going to visit the city’s highest peak, Mount Tibidabo, crowned by the cathedral del Sagrat Cor. This spectacular location can be seen from all over the city. We will use the funicular to go up the mountain, visit the cathedral, climb-up to the viewing platform just below the Jesus Christ bronze statue, and enjoy exceptional views of the city. How about experiencing the sunset over Barcelona from the apex of
the Ferris wheel?

On Saturday, we'll visit one of the the most picturesque Spanish coastal towns, Peñíscola, in the Valencian Community. We will explore one of the most iconic landmarks of the town - a medieval castle, known locally as the "Castillo del Papa Luna" (Castle of Pope Luna), situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and enjoy its stunning panoramic views of the town and coastline. Famous for its walls and its sandy beaches, Peñiscola has been featured in many movies and TV shows, such as Game of Thrones, where it was featured as the town of Meereen!

Next Wednesday, let's get ready for the wildest night in Barcelona! Join us for an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and pure energy at Barcelona’s hottest fiesta! Expect amazing DJs, vibrant lights, confetti explosions, and a crowd that knows how to party! Types of music: Reggaeton, Pop, Latin Beats & Non-Stop Fun! Good vibes only – come dance, sing, and celebrate life with us!

This Saturday, let’s go on an 8 km excursion from Vilanova i la Geltrú to Sitges. The hiking routes are completely off the beaten path, far from those commonly known by others. We’ll enjoy a picnic, picturesque sea views, and even stop by a secret LGBT bar. Are you a fan of hikes? Let’s go together and enjoy some relaxing time in nature.

This Wednesday, we are going to have a favorite Speakeasy meetup on Bogatell beach to hang out and play volleyball! Join us after class to soak up the afternoon sun, play volleyball, and mingle with fellow Speakeasy classmates. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks!

On Saturday, we are making a day trip to visit a fascinating and beautiful coastal town on the Costa Brava - Tossa de Mar. Located in the Girona Province, just 100km north of Barcelona.
The town has a lot of history, from the Iberian and Romans settlement to current times, but it is most famous for its medieval town and stunning nature. We will explore the town, enjoy the weather, and maybe even take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea!

This Friday, join us for a special painting session at one of Barcelona’s most beautiful cafés, with breathtaking sunset views over Montjuïc mountain. Our fellow Speakeasy BCN student and professional architect, Po An, will guide us on a fun and inspiring creative journey. Together, we’ll play watercolor games, practice sketching, and paint a stunning harbor scene with boats, cruise-ships, the sea, and the sky. By the end, you’ll have your very own hand-painted postcard to take home! Connect, create, and enjoy an inspiring night with Speakeasy BCN friends.

This Thursday, let's go to the new Time Out Market
in Barcelona. Located in the Port Vell area on the top floor of Maremagnum, it features 14 kitchens, a full-service restaurant, four bars, and incredible views of the port. Don't miss out on this opportunity to experience some of the city's best culinary delights!

Barcelona’s most famous summer street party - Festa Major Gràcia - is happening this week! This Wednesday, we are going to join the locals and check it out! We will enjoy the free events ‘al aire libre’, explore decorated streets, and check out street food stalls. Join us to explore Barcelona with your classmates!

We will visit two picturesque locations in northeast Catalonia: Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery and the coastal town of Port de la Selva. In the morning, we'll explore the Monasterio de Sant Pere, nestled in the Pyrenees and renowned for its Romanesque architecture, frescoes, and serene cloister. This 9th-century monastery offers a tranquil retreat and a glimpse into medieval monastic life. Afterward, we'll drive to Port de la Selva, a coastal village known for its pristine beaches, clear waters, and charming whitewashed houses, blending natural beauty with traditional Catalan culture.

We will take this opportunity to see the best view of Barcelona from the sea aboard a 78-foot catamaran. We will admire the skyline of Barcelona and capture wonderful images as the light changes, while enjoying live jazz music. The cruise runs for 1,5 hours, and we will be able to sit comfortably back and relax with a cold drink available from the onboard bar.

This Thursday, we’re going to enjoy a sunset paddle surf (SUP) class, taking in the beautiful views of the W Hotel and Barceloneta beach. Don’t worry if you’ve never tried it before — no prior experience is needed! We’ll have a professional instructor with us to guide everyone. Join us for one of the most popular summertime activities and share this unique sunset experience with your Speakeasy classmates out on the water.

On Wednesday, we will enjoy the ‘golden hour’ at one of BCN’s most impressive rooftops, offering 360º views of Barcelona, as we watch the sunset together with a drink in hand.
