On Saturday, we’ll explore part of the Camino de Ronda, a scenic coastal route along the Costa Brava that once connected villages and was used by fishermen and patrols. We’ll start the route at the Lloret Castle and hike around 15 km from Lloret de Mar to Tossa de Mar. Along the way, we’ll walk by the sea, enjoy a picnic on the beach, and discover wilder sections where the path winds through rocks and trees, offering beautiful views of the coastline. If you enjoy adventure and being surrounded by nature, join us! We’ll finish in Tossa de Mar with a short walk to explore the castle and the old town. Will you be part of this unforgettable day?

On Thursday, we will enjoy the ‘golden hour’ at one of BCN’s most impressive rooftops, offering 360º views of Barcelona, as we watch the sunset together with a drink in hand. Come and enjoy views of the city, while indulging in delicious drinks with your Speakeasy BCN classmates!

This Tuesday, we’re heading to Parque de las Glorias for an exciting board game event! It’s a great opportunity to relax, meet fellow Speakeasy students, and practice your Spanish in a casual and friendly setting. It’s also the perfect spot for a picnic, so feel free to bring some snacks and enjoy a lovely afternoon with board games. You’re also very welcome to bring your own favorite games and share them with others!

Get ready for an unforgettable day in Vall de Núria, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Pyrenees! We’ll travel up to the valley aboard the Cremallera, a scenic mountain train with breathtaking views at every turn. Once there, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the valley on foot before heading back to the charming town of Queralbs — either by hiking down a spectacular scenic trail or hopping back on the train. Join us for a day of exploration and breathtaking scenery, surrounded by the Pyrenees in their beautiful spring bloom in one of Catalonia’s most stunning natural landscapes!

On Thursday, get ready for an unforgettable experience! We're hosting a private Bachata class at Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents, just below the iconic W Hotel, with the breathtaking view of San Sebastian beach and the sea as the sun sets. Come connect, move, and enjoy the music together in one of Barcelona’s most beautiful spots. Everyone’s welcome, no experience necessary — let’s dance! Have you heard of Seville’s famous April Fair? It is a captivating celebration that combines Spanish tradition, culture, and vibrant festivities. In Barcelona, there is also an April Fair organized by the Federació d'Entitats Culturals Andaluses a Catalunya (FECAC). It has been celebrated annually in Catalonia since 1971. Join us to enjoy the cultural activities, music, and famous gastronomy of Andalusia!

Join us for a Paella Making Workshop! Kick off the evening with a homemade lemonade (still or sparkling) and a selection of olives, followed by fresh sourdough bread baked that morning, served with premium olive oil. 25th April, we'll be leaving Barcelona to visit two charming Catalan medieval towns: Siurana and Montblanc, located in the south of the region. First, we will stop by a small village in the Priorat province, Siurana, to explore its magical enclave, revel in the village's beauty, and learn about the legends associated with it.
Afterward, we will venture deeper into the countryside to visit Montblanc. This fascinating village used to be one of the most significant medieval towns. On this weekend, they will host their annual medieval festival, featuring a market, wine fair, and costumes.

This Wednesday, join us for a magical sunset photo experience as we discover one of Barcelona’s hidden gems — Turó del Carmel. Famous for its stunning 360° panoramic views, you’ll take in breathtaking sights stretching from the Sagrada Familia all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. To make the afternoon even more special, a professional photographer (@pauu.photo) will be there to capture the moment. Each participant will receive 5–10 beautifully edited digital photos.

We’ll start at Mercat del Born — an impressive excavation site and museum where you can walk through the remains of Barcelona’s old streets and learn more about the city’s past. Then, we’ll continue to the Barcelona Photography Archive, where you’ll explore unique visual stories and moments captured throughout the city’s history. On Saturday, we are taking a bus trip to the south of France to visit the stunning coastal town of Collioure. Throughout many centuries, it has remained a strategic enclave, subject to numerous disputes, and eventually came under the control of the kingdoms of Aragon and later France. Currently, it stands as one of the most beautiful towns in the south of France, renowned for its narrow streets, fishermen's houses, and delectable seafood cuisine. The narrow streets are lined with paintings, sculptures, and handmade pieces, giving the whole town a creative and inspiring atmosphere. Join us as we explore its rich historical heritage, beautiful beaches, and vibrant, colorful streets.

On Thursday, we’ll visit one of the most peculiar bars in the city, inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This Wednesday, we’re heading to a cozy bar-restaurant in the beautiful Estació de França building, near Barceloneta, for an exciting board game event. With over 200 games in different languages, plus delicious, affordable food and drinks, it’s one of the best places in the city to play. No need to be a board game expert—the organizers will explain the rules and make sure everyone feels welcome. It’s a fun way to relax, hang out with fellow Speakeasy students, and practice Spanish in a casual setting.

Pintxos - the Basque version of tapas. Carrer Blai in Poble Sec is a pedestrian street lined with bars serving tasty pintxos and beer. The idea is to hop from place to place, sampling different pintxos as you go. Join us this Thursday to mingle with your Speakeasy classmates and enjoy authentic Basque cuisine together.

Join us for a cozy, creative evening where art, wine, and good vibes come together. Paint with Wine is a unique workshop where real wine becomes your paint, turning the experience into something truly special. Instead of traditional paints, you’ll use wine as a painting material, applying it like watercolor in soft, transparent layers that create beautiful, atmospheric effects. A pencil sketch will be ready for you, so you can relax, have fun, and enjoy the process — no pressure and no experience needed. On Sunday, we will visit the Maritime Museum of Barcelona, one of the city’s most fascinating cultural landmarks. Housed in the historic Royal Shipyards (Drassanes Reials), this remarkable complex dates back to the 13th century and was once at the heart of Barcelona’s naval power. As you explore the museum, you will uncover captivating stories of seafaring, shipbuilding, and Mediterranean life. Beyond the exhibitions, the building itself is a stunning example of Gothic civil architecture and offers a unique window into Barcelona’s deep and enduring connection with the sea.
