Course overview
With our combined Spanish courses, you have the best of both worlds. You get to enjoy the social aspect of studying in a group whilst still being able to focus on your specific learning needs. This makes our combined Spanish course a popular choice with students of all ages and focuses. Daily group Spanish classes are divided into two blocks, one teacher for each half, with a small break in the middle. This gives you time to cover all aspects of Spanish language learning each day: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. The 24 hour Combined course includes our 20h Intensive group Spanish classes that run from 9-13h Monday through Friday, plus four hours of private Spanish lessons weekly on a flexible schedule based on your preference. Your private lessons will be adapted to your goals and specific Spanish language needs.
Course start dates
If you already have some basic knowledge of Spanish or have a more advanced level, you can start any Monday. If you are a complete beginner, new courses start every other Monday throughout the year.

Visa
If you will be applying for a student visa application with your course at Speakeasy we will help you with the entire visa application process. All long-term course packages include all necessary application documents that you will need from the school. We have years of experience helping non-EU citizens to obtain their long-term student visas. We know it can be quite daunting and complex but you can take comfort in the fact that we will be there for you each step of the way.
Accommodation
Speakeasy is happy to offer you a selection of accommodation types if you need help finding a home away from home during your stay in Barcelona. Options include a room in a shared private apartment, host family, full private apartment or a room in a student residence. Most of our apartments, families and residences are located within 20 minutes from the school and the city center by public transport.
Insurance
In addition to the comfort of knowing that you will be fully covered throughout your stay in Spain, many student visas require students to be covered with comprehensive medical insurance. If you plan to stay in Spain for more than 180 days and you need a long-term student visa (type D), you must have insurance with full coverage of medical services in Spain.

I had various courses at Speakeasy (Intensive course, conversation class and business class) and every class I attended was fun and improved my Spanish. The teachers I had are very experienced, take care of each student and lead the classes in a fun way with a focus on a good atmosphere for learning. I would like to highlight the activities organized by Lina. They were my absolute favorites no matter what. We had great nights discovering famous bars or playing volleyball on the beach. The activities were really great to meet new people from all over the world while improving your Spanish. I would like to return to Speakeasy next year for more courses and would recommend Speakeasy in every way possible!

You can make the payment online by card, by bank transfer, or in reception by card or in cash.
- Do I have to pay the registration fee again when I come back after a break?

No, the registration fee lasts forever. You will only have to pay the registration fee once no matter when you come back!
- When can I take my holidays?

You can take them whenever you like! You just need to let us know with at least ten days advanced notice so we can plan classes and place you in the correct course for your return.
