New long-term Spanish courses: afternoon & evening options now available at Speakeasy BCN

If you've been dreaming of living in Barcelona and learning Spanish, but couldn’t find a course that fits your schedule or budget, we have great news. Speakeasy BCN is excited to introduce two brand-new long-term Spanish programs designed to meet the needs of busy international students:

• Afternoon Immersive Spanish 20h Long-Term Course

• Evening Spanish 20h Long-Term Course

These courses are student visa-eligible, follow a fixed 1-year schedule, and include set holiday weeks, allowing us to offer them at our most accessible prices yet.

Why we created new long-term options

While our morning and midday long-term courses have been incredibly popular among students looking for full immersion, we heard from many prospective students who needed:

• Later class times due to work, remote study, or other daily commitments

• A more affordable long-term course option

• A clear, consistent academic structure with a fixed length and break dates

So, we built two new programs with those exact needs in mind.

What’s new: afternoon & evening programs explained

Afternoon Immersive Spanish 20h Long-Term Course

Schedule:

• Spanish Reinforcement Workshops: Monday to Friday, 15:30 – 17:30

• Spanish Classes: Monday to Friday, 17:30 – 19:30

This course follows the same immersive structure as our midday program but with a later schedule and a fixed calendar. It includes daily cultural and language reinforcement workshops followed by two hours of structured Spanish instruction each day. It’s ideal for students who prefer a later, consistent routine with the same high-quality immersion.

Evening Spanish 20h Long-Term Course

Schedule:

• Ludoteca (Spanish through games and media): Monday to Friday, 14:30 – 15:30

• Spanish Reinforcement Workshops: Monday to Friday, 15:30 – 17:30

• Spanish Classes: 2 evenings per week, 18:00 – 20:00 (Mon & Wed or Tue & Thu)

This is our most flexible structure, created for people who work or study during the day. The course combines structured evening Spanish classes with optional support sessions, like Ludoteca, a playful space to build language skills through games and media, and interactive workshops that focus on real-life communication skills.
