On Saturday, the 5th of October, we'll be going on a day trip to visit one of the most famous cities in the south of France - Carcassonne.
Situated on a hilltop in the Languedoc area of southern France, it is famous for its medieval citadel, La Cité, with several watchtowers and fortifications. Join us to explore the iconic 12th-century Châteay Comtal and Roman walls.

This Tuesday, we will get lost in one of the most beautiful gardens in Barcelona - Parc de Laberint d'Horta. Horta's Labyrinth Park was created in the end of 18th century as a garden in collaboration with Italian architect Domenico Bagutti. Two centuries after, it became the oldest conserved park with a labyrinth in the city. Once Neoclassical, with a slightly Italian look, it later adopted a Romantic style.

This Friday, we are going to a flamenco show. Established in 1963, Los Tarantos Flamenco is the oldest tablao in Barcelona. Its stage has welcomed some of the most important figures of the last century, making it one of the most influential tablaos in the whole country.
Come along and immersive yourself in this traditional Spanish dance!

On Thursday, we will enjoy the ‘golden hour’ at one of BCN’s most impressive rooftops, offering 360º views of Barcelona, as we watch the sunset together with a drink in hand. Your first beer is on us! 🎉

Join us on Saturday 21st of September as we visit one of the most charming villages in the Costa Brava. It was also one of Salvador Dalí’s favorite places. Yep, we’re talking about Cadaques! We will enjoy its beaches, white streets adorned with flowers, and boutique shops. Dalí lovers will have the opportunity to visit Salvador Dalí’s house-museum which he built throughout his life, and you’ll see how the famous artist and his wife, Gala, lived.

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure to Vall de Núria, nestled in the heart of the Pyrenees, where breathtaking views await!
First, we will arrive at the town of Queralbs, where you'll have the option to take a round-trip on the Cremallera, a special train that will take you up to Vall de Núria. Alternatively, if you're a fan of hiking and adventure, you can choose to hike the 7.2 km route from Queralbs to Vall de Núria and take the 8 km route backwards.
Join us for a day of exploration, fresh air, and breathtaking scenery in one of Catalonia's most beautiful natural landscapes!

This Friday, we are going to visit one of Barcelona's lesser-known jazz clubs to enjoy the jams of local jazz musicians.
The club has a special atmosphere, natural wines, signature cocktails, and artisanal beers. Join us and enjoy the music alongside your classmates!

This Friday, let’s go on an 8 km excursion from Vilanova i la Geltrú to Sitges.
The hiking routes are completely off the beaten path, far from those commonly known by others. We’ll enjoy a picnic, picturesque sea views, and even stop by a secret LGTB bar.
Are you a fan of hikes? Let’s go together and enjoy some relaxing time in nature.

This Tuesday, we will visit an outstanding monastery from the gothic period - The Monastery of Pedralbes. In 1326, King James II of Aragon established the monastery as a gift to his wife Elisenda de Montcada. Today, it serves as a museum, showcasing enduring exhibitions dedicated to its art and historical significance. Recently, in 2018, the restoration of the Chapel of St. Michael was completed, allowing it to welcome visitors once again.

We will visit two picturesque locations in northeast Catalonia: Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery and the coastal town of Port de la Selva.
In the morning, we'll explore the Monasterio de Sant Pere, nestled in the Pyrenees and renowned for its Romanesque architecture, frescoes, and serene cloister. This 9th-century monastery offers a tranquil retreat and a glimpse into medieval monastic life.
Afterward, we'll drive to Port de la Selva, a coastal village known for its pristine beaches, clear waters, and charming whitewashed houses, blending natural beauty with traditional Catalan culture.

This Tuesday, we are going to have a favorite Speakeasy BCN meetup on Bogatell beach to hang out and play volleyball! Join us after class to soak up the afternoon sun, play volleyball, and mingle with fellow Speakeasy BCN classmates. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks!

This Wednesday, we are going to visit one of Barcelona's favorite summer projects in Poble Español - Blues Nights.
We will enjoy the the blues concert of local group, Joan Pau Cumellas y Miquel Talavera Band "al aire libre" in the heart of Montjuïc. Join us to enjoy a warm Barcelona evening, good music and local food and beverages!

Barcelona’s most famous summer street party - Festa Major Gràcia - is happening this week! This Tuesday, we are going to join the locals and check it out!
We will enjoy the free events ‘al aire libre’, explore decorated streets, and check out street food stalls. Join us to explore Barcelona with your classmates!

We will visit one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Catalonia and then enjoy one of the most scenic "calas" (coves) of the Costa Brava.
We will explore the town of Peratallada, located in the province of Girona, halfway between Barcelona and the French border. After that, we will go to a small bay on the Costa Brava - Aiguablava, famous for its crystal turquoise water, and sandy beach surrounded by green mountains.

This Wednesday, let's go to the recently opened Time Out Market in Barcelona.
Located in the Port Vell area on the top floor of Maremagnum, it features 14 kitchens, a full-service restaurant, and four bars.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to experience some of the city's best culinary delights!

This Thursday, let's go to Bar Salvatge, where we can try some natural wine and vermouth and enjoy food prepared with fresh, natural ingredients. It's in the Gràcia neighborhood, known for its bohemian vibe and vibrant cultural scene.
Come along to explore this delightful part of Barcelona and enjoy some drinks with your classmates!

We will take this opportunity to see the best view of Barcelona from the sea aboard a 78-foot catamaran.
We will admire the skyline of Barcelona and capture wonderful images as the light changes, while enjoying live jazz music. The cruise runs for 1,5 hours, and we will be able to sit comfortably back and relax with a cold drink available from the onboard bar.

We’ll explore the old fishermen's houses with colorful shutters, alleys that join the sea to the picturesque town, quaint beaches, and quiet coves. Calella de Palafrugell captures the essence of the Mediterranean, to say the least!

We will be watching 'Past Lives,' a Korean movie inspired by real events. It follows two childhood friends over the course of 24 years as they reflect on how their relationship evolves over time.

On Saturday, we are making a day trip to L'Estartit, a beautiful coastal town on the Costa Brava known for its clear waters and stunning beaches. It's perfect for enjoying maritime activities. One of its main attractions are the Medes Islands, a protected marine reserve with a rich pirate history. During a 3-hour tour on a replica of a pirate ship, the Black Corsair, we will explore the islands, cliffs, and even take a swim in this breathtaking natural reserve.

Let's dive into the dynamic world of salsa and bachata dancing! These rhythmic expressions are not just steps; they're portals into the richness of Hispanic culture.
No need for previous experience, we'll have a free class guided by an instructor. After the class, we'll enjoy the live music and put our newly acquired dance moves into action.
Let's put on our dance attire and get our groove on!
