On Saturday, we will take a bus trip to the south of France to visit the picturesque town in the Occitan region, Narbonne, which was founded by Romans more than two thousand years ago. We will discover well-preserved traces of Roman life, including fragments of the Via Domitia, underground galleries of the Horreun. Furthermore, Narbonne boasts essential monuments worth visiting, such as the Cathedral of Saint Just and Saint Shepherd, the Palace of the Archbishops, Gilles, and Aycelin Tower, making it one of the most popular towns to visit in the south of France.

On Tuesday, we will take a part of the main event of the month - Oktoberfest! Yes, it's popular not only in Germany, Spanish people are big fans of ale as well.

Join us at Oktoberfest Barcelona to enjoy great beer, the best Bavarian cuisine, live music, and of course, socialize with your classmates outside the classroom!

This Thursday, we will learn the secrets of creating spectacular cocktails during our cocktail-making workshop. During the masterclass, we will learn how to stir and shake, discover some bartending hacks, and make 2 cocktails inspired by Barcelona and Catalan culture. Join us to enjoy a new experience and a wonderful evening with your speakeasy classmates!

On Saturday, we will take a bus trip to visit the picturesque town of Alquézar in the Aragon region. This town was founded at the beginning of the 9th century by Jalaf ibn Rasid as a defense fortress against Christian resistance in the Pyrenees.The town is now declared as a Historic Artistic Site. Inside, you'll discover many remnants of its medieval history and ancient art, such as the Levantine deer painting in the Río Vero Cultural Park.

The Palau de la Música Catalana was built between 1905 and 1908 by the modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, it is an architectural jewel of Catalan Art Nouveau, with the only concert venue in this style to be listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

This Friday, we are going to enjoy a jazz concert in the main jazz club of the city, Jamboree. Jamboree is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter in, Plaça Reial and hosts blues, live jazz, hip-hop, and dance music artists. Since its opening in 1960, the venue has become a jazz pioneer in Barcelona and has hosted famous musicians such as Bill Coleman and Chet Baker. Join us and enjoy the music of Anton Jarl Quintet alongside your classmates!

Get ready for a journey through the universe of Ancient Egypt, we will travel back 3,400 years in a unique immersive experience and explore the temples, treasures and secrets.

Discover, hand-in-hand with the Child Pharaoh, the history of an absolutely magical civilization which we have inherited many cultural traits.

On Saturday, we will visit Rupit, a medieval town nestled in a spectacular natural environment,. The village is set of stone houses, streets, squares and bridges, which makes it one of the best preserved and most beautiful towns in Catalonia.

Near Rupit, we find Tavertet, built next to a large precipice overlooking the Sau reservoir and the Montseny mountains.

Join us for a picnic in the park! We’ll meet in one of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona, Parc de la Ciutadella. Meet and mingle with your classmates, practice your Spanish outside the classroom and enjoy the sun, music and drinks! Feel free to bring snacks and drinks!

This Thursday we will visit one of the trendiest places in Barcelona! Moco Museum exhibits a heavy hitter line-up including but not limited to – Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, Damien Hirst, Keith Haring, KAWS and more! Join to experience the collection of modern & contemporary art with speakeasy friends.

This Wednesday, we are going to try the greatest Spanish apéritif - vermút rojo.

It is common for Spanish people to have a glass of vermut before a big meal - they say it helps prepare the appetite and aid in digestion.

Join us to drink vermút like locals, enjoy tapas, and the company of your classmates!

This Sunday, we will visit an outstanding monastery from the gothic period - The Monastery of Pedralbes. In 1326, King James II of Aragon established the monastery as a gift to his wife Elisenda de Montcada. Today, it serves as a museum, showcasing enduring exhibitions dedicated to its art and historical significance. Recently, in 2018, the restoration of the Chapel of St. Michael was completed, allowing it to welcome visitors once again.

This Thursday, we're going to a flamenco show! Get ready to witness an amazing Spanish flamenco performance in the heart of Barcelona at the Palau Dalmases, a beautiful 17th Century Palace.
Come along and dive into the world of this traditional Spanish dance—it's going to be a blast!

On Thursday, we will visit one of the most beautiful cocktail bars in Barcelona - La Dama, located in a stunning Gaudi-style building.

It's famous for its unique cocktails and food, and remarkable art-deco atmosphere. Come along to mingle with your classmates and make new memories in Barcelona!

This Wednesday, we are going to repeat our favorite Speakeasy summer meetup at Bogatell beach to hang out and play volleyball!

Join us after class to soak up the afternoon sun, and mingle with fellow Speakeasy classmates.

Feel free to bring snacks and drinks!

We will visit one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Catalonia and then enjoy the authentic Costa Brava.

We will explore the town of Pals, located in the Baix Empordà region, which appears in a text from the year 889 along with mention of its castle! After that, on the coast of Girona, we will spend some time in the small coastal town of Tamariu, a town with a fishing tradition, stunning nature and blue water.

We will take this opportunity to see the best sunset in Barcelona from the sea aboard a the 78-foot catamaran.

We will admire the skyline of Barcelona and capture wonderful images as the light changes, while enjoying live jazz music. The cruise runs for 1,5 hours, and we will be able to sit comfortably back and relax with a cold drink available from the onboard bar.

On Thursday, we'll meet at one of the most impressive rooftops in Barcelona to watch the sunset with a drink in hand.

Come and appreciate some wonderful views of the city, and enjoy tapas and drinks with your Speakeasy classmates!

On Saturday, we are taking a bus trip to the south of France to visit the stunning coastal town of Collioure. It stands as one of the most beautiful towns in the south of France, renowned for its narrow streets, fisherman houses, and delectable seafood cuisine. Join us as we explore its rich historical heritage, beautiful beaches, and vibrant, colorful streets.

This Thursday, we will visit one of the greatest examples of Catalan modernism - Casa Amatller.
The building was originally constructed in 1875, then redesigned as a residence for wealthy chocolatier and archaeological enthusiast Antoni Amatller between 1898 and 1900.

The continuous ownership by the Amatller family means that the house's interior of 1900 has remained largely preserved intact to the present day. We will visit the historic home's museum and after, enjoy some chocolate from this family in the café inside the house.

Symphony is an immersive audiovisual experience that offers a journey through emotions and music with the aim of bringing classical music closer to all audiences. The viewer will be able to live and understand classical music feeling like one more musician in an orchestra.

Come along to enjoy the compositions of Beethoven, Mahler and Bernstein, by the great conductor Gustavo Dudamel.

This Wednesday, we are going to visit one of Barcelona's favorite summer projects in Poble Español - Blues Nights. We will enjoy the the blues concert of local group, Malacara Blues Band, "al aire libre" in the heart of Montjuïc. Join us to enjoy a warm Barcelona evening, good music and local food and beverages!

On Saturday, we are visiting two lovely towns in the Costa Brava. San Martin De Empurias is the original nucleus where the first settlement of the Greeks was established in the 6th century BC, shortly after, they founded the colony of Emporion, becoming one of the main areas of expansion of Hellenic culture in the Iberian Peninsula.
La Escala started as a small fishing town, famous for anchovies and sardines. It was dependent on the neighbouring town of Empuries, but nowadays, it has become one of the favourite summer getaways for local people.
