Course overview

Our Long-term Spanish courses are a great option if you want to learn Spanish and enjoy living in Barcelona for a longer period of time. These courses meet the requirements to apply for a student visa in Spain. You’ll study 20 hours of Spanish each week and cover up to 6 levels of the CASA program. Classes are 4 hours each day, Monday through Friday, in the morning or in the afternoon. Class is divided into two blocks, one teacher for each half, with a small break in the middle. This gives you time to cover all aspects of Spanish language learning each day: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. You’ll also have the option to include the DELE exam preparation course in packages from 36 weeks and more.

Most of our apartments, families and residences are located within 20 minutes from the school and the city center by public transport.

Reviews

Snezhanna Niyazgulova Speakeasy, November 2020

This is a very good school. Teachers are nice and intelligent people. At the same time, the lessons are fun. I have been studying here for 7 months and continue to study, my level of Spanish has increased very much. Previously, I could hardly say a few words, but now I understand and can communicate with Spanish people. I strongly recommend this school.

FAQs

What do I need to do if I want to take a course in Speakeasy with financial aid from CSN?

Once you have decided which course you want to take, how many weeks you want to study with us and when you would like to start, you should contact our Swedish regional manager Jas at jas@speakeasybcn.com. She will help you with the whole application process and guide you from the beginning to the end.

Where do students come from?

We have a very international environment at Speakeasy with students from all over the world. In each class you will typically not find more than two students from the same country. To name a few: Russia, China, Sweden, Britain, Brazil, Germany, Italy, France, USA, Canada, and many more!

How long does the visa process take?

The length of the process depends on the Spanish embassy in your home country. Embassies require making an appointment in advance, so give yourself time for this. Once you have had your appointment and turned in your application at the embassy it should take between 2-4 weeks to receive a response about your student visa application.
